Clermont County — Local writers will soon have a chance to showcase their storytelling skills as the Clermont County Public Library launches its annual writing contest for teens and adults. The library’s official website provides full contest guidelines and instructions for submitting manuscripts.
Participants may submit one original story, and — as in recent years — the contest will use a blind-format judging process to keep entries anonymous. First-place winners will receive a $150 gift card and have their story featured on the library’s website.
Entries are due by the final day of January, and organizers plan to announce the winners in April.
Founded in 1955, the Clermont County Public Library has grown to ten locations, ensuring every resident is within a 15-minute drive of library resources. Today, the system offers workspaces, community events, and creative opportunities, continuing its mission to connect and engage Clermont families with a wide range of services.
