Clermont Schools recognized for accomplishments

Awarded by Greater Cincinnati Business Advisory Council

Posted

Did you know that all school districts in the state of Ohio are required to participate in a Business Advisory Council (BAC) in service of their students?

Many Clermont Schools have their own BAC, while they and others are also active participants in the Greater Cincinnati Business Advisory Council (GCBAC).

The Greater Cincinnati Business Advisory Council (GCBAC) brings educators and business leaders together to collaborate to provide meaningful work-based learning and career exploration opportunities for students.

GCBAC is provided by the Hamilton/Clermont County Educational Services Center (ESC) with participation by Clermont's ESC, several Clermont schools, and others from across the region.

Connect Clermont's Bob Pautke shares LinkedUp Connect stories.

During the May 16, 2025 GCBAC meeting, attendees met in the following committees to review progress and develop action plans:

  - Professional Skills for the Future Committee,

  - Building Partnerships Committee,

  - Coordinating Experiences Committee.

Later during the general session, representatives form several businesses and schools shared success stories using LinkedUp Connect - the online portal for linking students to opportunities - experienceships-  with business partners across the Greater Cincinnati area.

Learn more about LinkedUp Connect in our Good Day Clermont podcast episode with Megan Reed on many podcast platforms and here on Connect Clermont's website.

Many of Clermont's schools were recognized for their participation and accomplishments over the past year. Proudly, these schools from Clermont County were recognized:
