and Valley View Nature Preserve is improved & grateful as a result

Valley View Nature Preserve has a new view, from a new sign from the efforts of Jackson Sliwinski, Scout Troop 128.  Valley View gained a sign while Jackson gained his Eagle Scout rank.

"Our old sign at the south entrance was falling apart and barely visible, but Jackson saw the need for improvement and thankfully chose this as his Eagle Scout project," said Valley View's Executive Director Vanessa Hannah.

"Jackson tackled a big project to earn his Eagle Scout designation, one that not only challenged his leadership skills but is also a really important part of a larger project for Valley View.  It required a lot of planning, resources, and communication and he handled it beautifully."

First impressions matter, and visitors have commented that the new sign has built greater awareness of what Valley View has to offer - it is, some say, a welcoming sign.

Jackson's scout leader, Scot Conover, owner of Sign Graphics & Design played a key role in making this project a reality.

Scot generously contributed his time, talents, and materials to ensure a lasting and high-quality result.

The new sign not only welcomes visitors at the road but will also connect them to Valley View's soon to be designated parking area and gateway to the trails.

"This project is a perfect example of how great people and a generous local business can come together to do something really special," continued an appreciative Hannah, "Our team is so thankful to Jackson, his family and Scot - thanks to their hard work, now every Valley View visitor feels welcomed."

We add our gratitude to Jackson for his community service and congratulations on earning his Eagle Scout rank #GoodDeedsClermont.

Valley View Preserve is 190 acres of beautiful open land along the East Fork River with a rich history dating back 12,000 years.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the City of Milford, Clermont County, Ohio, Valley View Preserve focuses on Conserving Land, Preserving History & Sharing with the Community.
