BETHEL — The 2026 ACA Sprint National Championship will kick off at the end of July. The Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking volunteers with boating experience to help coordinate operations and safety throughout the event. Boat drivers must be 18 or older to participate.
The ACA Sprint National Championships invite athletes from across the country to compete in canoe and kayak sprint races on Harsha Lake in East Fork State Park. The event will showcase talent from the nation’s top paddle sport, while drawing spectator crowds in the hundreds.
Organizers at the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau need help maintaining the area and coordinating events.

“We're looking for experienced boat drivers to assist with race operations and help ensure a safe and successful championship. If you enjoy spending time on the water and want a front-row seat to the action, this is a great opportunity to get involved,” the organization published in a recent newsletter.
Businesses and nonprofits that can offer ten or more volunteers will receive direct donations from Discover Clermont, the region's leading nonprofit for tourism and visitor services. Contact Melissa Copestick for more details.
Additional volunteers without boating experience can still participate in event check-ins, registration, hospitality, course support, and miscellaneous operations.
Discover Clermont needs volunteers as early as July 27, so interested individuals should sign up today for more information.
