Historic Clermont Ohio Bus Tour

Friday, June 26, starting at 9:30 a.m.

 

Clermont Senior Services will be offering a chartered bus tour of Clermont's most cherished landmarks and locations. The tour will depart from the Union Township Civic Center and stop at the Promont House History Museum, many of the America 250 murals, and Chilo Lock 34 Park. 

 

Travel through communities including Loveland, Milford, Chilo, and New Richmond while discovering the stories that shaped the county and our nation’s history. Along the way, enjoy riverside views and great conversation with other guests.

 

Tickets are $28 per person, and seats are limited. Gather your friends and reserve your seat before they run out!

 

Free IT Support training

Friday, June 26, starting at 11 a.m.

 

The Care Center is helping people connect to Per Scholas for free IT Support training. This event caters to those who are seeking to expand their technical skills for a job or career.
 
No prior experience or certifications are necessary to take part in this educational seminar. 
 
 
Two free virtual information sessions will take place on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Friday at 11 a.m. The new virtual cohort begins August 10; see the flyer attached for details.

Harmony Hill music with Angela Combs & Rob Duo

Batavia Farmers’ Market

Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

The Batavia Farmers' Market has been serving the local community since 1999. Your family can shop for locally grown produce from a range of experienced farmers. The market accepts WIC coupons, ensuring that everyone in the community has an opportunity to try fresh food. 

 

The Farmers' Market will continue through September, or until available produce dwindles. Stop in early to get first pick of the fruits and vegetables offered at this charming neighborhood market.

 

America's First Veterans, Clermont's First Settlers

Saturday, June 27, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The Clermont County Historical Society will present "America's First Veterans, Clermont's First Settlers," a historical talk focusing on the Revolutionary War. What better time than during the America 250 celebrations?
 
 
This free, hour-long event is suitable for ages 14 and up, and will explore the lives of soldiers and sailors who fought for independence to become Clermont County's pioneering residents.
 
 
Your family will gain insight into the conflict through compelling individual narratives connecting national history to local heritage.

Dusty & Backwoods Drive performs at Bishop's Quarter

Saturday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

 

Dusty & The Backwoods Drive is a modern country band with a southern rock edge. They write music for real crowds and real movements, making them a must-see for anyone out and about this weekend. Bishop's Quarter hosts live music every weekend, so keep an eye on their calendar for your favorite acts.

 

The venue also provides excellent food and drink. Come for a late dinner and get to know Dusty & The Backwoods Drive before they hit the road.

 

Garden Tour Sundays at Losantiville Farms
