This weekend, the Clermont Park District is embracing the spirit of spring, with some fun nature-inspired events, from hiking local preserves to arts & crafts.

Residents looking for even more to do during the week can explore the Connect Clermont events calendar, which is free to use and add to for those looking to promote their events to the community.

Foraged Tea Time & Hike: Wild Blackberries

Friday, May 1, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Join the Clermont Park District for a relaxed, outdoor tea-making experience. Learn tea harvesting and processing with hands-on demonstrations.
Those hoping to create their own unique tea are in luck! Organizers will help attendees gather their own ingredients with tips and tricks to achieve the best-tasting final product.
Participants can register for this free event online. The hike takes place regardless of the weather.

Mother's Day Suncatcher Workshop

Saturday, May 2, from 1 - 2 p.m.

Children will explore how mother animals care for their young in this interactive workshop. After the presentation, families will join a short hike to gather natural materials, then create a personalized suncatcher for Mother’s Day.

The Clermont Park District requires pre-registration for this event, so don’t wait to confirm your visit!

Spring Migration Bird Walk

Saturday, May 2, starts at 8:30 a.m.

Millions of birds from South and Central America migrate north and along the Ohio River to settle into mating season. Clermont locals can spot some of these majestic creatures during a 2-mile hike through Crooked Run Nature Preserve.

Organizers recommend wearing reliable shoes or boots, as hikers may experience uneven surfaces and mud during the event.

The bird walk is free for all ages, no RSVP required!

Keep up with the latest events.
