October is here, which means spooky season is about to usher in all the pumpkin patches, haunted houses, movie nights, and Halloween events your heart desires!

Friday, October 2, from 6:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Every year, residents from around Clermont County gather for the Annual Pumpkin Run Nationals Car Show. This event features over 2,500 classic cars and trucks spanning decades.
The Pumpkin Run is also the Midwest’s largest pre-1974 car show. You and your family can get up close and personal with restored hot rods, classic muscle cars, and custom builds. It all takes place at the Clermont County Fairgrounds.
Be sure to get there early to claim a spot and prepare vehicles for display. Registration opens at the Holiday Inn Eastgate at 8:00; the Fairgrounds will not offer on-site registration.
The event will also host craft and food vendors, including a split-the-pot competition. Celebrity DJ JD Hughes will keep the entertainment going all weekend long.
It’s officially Halloween season, so bring a costume to participate in the Pumpkin Run costume and dance contests.

Friday, October 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
You’ve listened to the Tri-State Warbirds podcast episode; now experience their student programs in real life!
The museum will host its recurring Tiny Soarers experience for young children interested in aviation and history. What better theme to kick off October than Bats!?
Participating students will learn how these nocturnal creatures fly and hunt through two engaging story-time events. The kids will also create paper crafts to see how long they can keep their flying contraption in the air!
This event is free for all members of the Tri-State Warbirds Museum and only $5 for students. You can register for the Tiny Soarers program online.

Friday, October 2, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Simmons Farm will be holding its much-anticipated October Pumpkin Festival throughout the month. This weekend, the celebrations kick off with only $1 farm admission tickets!
You can also buy a $25 October Farm Pass if you plan on returning with friends or guests.
Each weekend, the farm will host different music acts, food vendors, a corn maze, activities… and of course, countless pumpkins!
Explore life on the farm with hayrides and real animals as the weather begins to cool off.

Saturday, October 3, starting at 9 a.m.
Only two Yoga in the Park events remain at Sycamore this year. If you haven’t tried this calming outdoor experience, you’re running out of time!
The weather will be tame in Clermont County this Saturday, so pack a water bottle, a mat, and enjoy guided meditation with certified yoga instructor Andrea Louis.
This is a free event, and organizers encourage participants of all skill levels.

Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There’s no shortage of free events happening in Clermont County this weekend. Visit the Vendor & Craft Show at First Baptist Church of Glen Este for holiday goodies, baked treats, papercrafts, antiques, jewelry, and so much more!
This event is perfect for those who have already explored the region’s many farmers' markets. See what else is available in your neighborhood this Saturday.

Saturday, October 3, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
One of Cincinnati’s favorite local bands will be performing at Bishop’s Quarter in just a few days! White Lighter is an alternative rock group featured in CityBeat Magazine and other publications.
Over the years, they have performed at Madison Theater, Margarita Madness, and several park festivals across Southwest Ohio. The band will perform a full set of originals and covers, encouraging the audience to sing and dance along.

Saturday, October 3, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Speaking of music, the Clermont County Historical Society is thrilled to announce a special evening of music with Ukrainian musician Dr. Andrii Isakov, renowned violinist and a Professor of Violin at The Ohio State University.
His work has been featured with the National Ukrainian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lviv Symphony Orchestra, and the CCM Philharmonic Orchestra, where he took home an award for his concerto.
He will be joined by his wife, pianist Li Wang, at the Batavia Village Armory this Saturday evening. The performance is free, so there are no barriers to bringing friends and family out to witness the master at work.

Sunday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 9th Annual Special Needs Fishing Tournament is kicking off at Lake Cozy Dale this Sunday afternoon. It is free to all people living with special needs and includes free pole rentals and fishing tackle. Organizers will award sponsored prizes to top performers, and everyone will walk away with a commemorative T-shirt.
Participants will also enjoy lunch around noon. Those who would like to donate to support special needs accommodations in Clermont County can meet with leaders at the event and discuss opportunities.

Sunday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Farmers Market season is quickly coming to a close! With only two more weekends of shopping left in New Richmond, now is the time to get out and grab fresh produce before it goes out of stock.
Local farmers can recommend the best items for your dietary needs, and you can hear the stories of those who have been sustaining Clermont County for years.
