Have you ever had the chance to make beautiful art with charcoal? It’s one of the best ways to create velvety blacks and soft, blendable gray tones. Artists like John Singer Sargent made some of the most memorable portraits in modern art using charcoal!
This Friday, the Clermont Park District will show you how to collect, prepare, and transform raw materials into your very own charcoal sticks. This event is suitable for adults and children ages 8 and older.
You will be working with tools and open fires provided by expert crafters. Register today to save your spot!

Friday, September 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
We started adding live shows at The Wicked Pickle to our list because we can’t get enough of their summer vibes! The sun is still beating down over Clermont County, so stop in this Friday to see Elementree, a reggae/pop/alt rock singer who is sure to keep the mood lively.
While you’re in, try some of the Caribbean-inspired appetizers or enjoy a refreshing cocktail to get the night started.

Friday, September 4, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Speaking of live music, you already know the Bishop’s Quarter has another act lined up for your weekend outing.
The Other Four is back to perform everyone’s favorite hits, inspired by jazz, folk, blues, and country.
We definitely recommend getting to this venue before the weather gets too cold. The Bishop’s Quarter offers three dining floors overlooking Downtown Loveland with outdoor seating when weather permits.

Saturday, September 5, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
There’s always something fun to explore in the parks around Clermont County! Join your neighbors in a morning canoe adventure along the Ohio River this Saturday!
Meet the Clermont Park District team at Crooked Run Nature Preserve to set off for an upriver 0.5-mile paddle.
Organizers recommend bringing your own binoculars or borrowing a pair to get the most out of your bird-watching experience.
It may be hot out, so don’t forget to pack a hat, water bottle, and appropriate clothing. Park enforcement only allows water and sports drinks in the canoes, so no alcohol on this trip!
You’ll need to RSVP for this event, but it’s totally free. Organizers will provide canoes, paddles, and life jackets. To ensure safety on the water, this event is for ages 12 and up only.

Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are excited about the 9th annual Loveland Art Festival! The show will feature nearly 70 talented artists from across communities and cultures. This year, the show will take place at Loveland’s Nisbet Park.
The 2026 gallery includes a juried show and will once again feature a 'People's Choice' award. Stop by any booth to pick up a ballot. You’ll be able to drop your completed ballot off at the Besl, Baden & Jones eXp Realty booth.
The winners' announcement will occur at 3 p.m.
Clark Jenkins will also perform live music during the event, with meals provided by local food trucks.

Saturday, September 5, starting at 7 p.m.
Arts and culture are alive this Labor Day weekend in Clermont County!
If live music and crafts aren’t enough for you, come watch the actors at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company perform “Much Ado About Nothing” in Burke Park.
This is a free outdoor performance, directed by Robert Carlon Stimmel. The classic romantic comedy plot is set in 1776 in honor of the ongoing America 250 celebration.
Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks for the best experience!

Sunday, September 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There’s just over a month left to visit one of the many farmers' markets around Clermont County! If you haven’t shopped at the New Richmond Market, now is the best time to add it to your schedule.
Local producers, artisans, and clothing vendors will have everything on display during this outdoor event. Bring your entire family to promote local small businesses and hear stories from the farmers who grow your food.

Sunday, September 6, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Promont Museum is one of those unique gems in Clermont County. As a Victorian-style mansion built in 1865, it attracts history lovers and architecture enthusiasts. The museum currently showcases an array of period furnishings and rotating exhibits that bring the past to life.
This weekend, the Promont Museum offers open house tours to the public. Visit the website for ticket information.

Monday, September 4, all day.
Labor Day has finally arrived! We hope you get some time off work this Monday, but if not, there’s still so much to do in Clermont County throughout the day.
Earlier this week, we showed you Discover Clermont’s Bucket List for the end of summer. We recommend exploring any of these great options to make the most of your long weekend.
If you are down to make a short trip to Cincinnati, the 50th annual Western & Southern/WEBN Riverfest and fireworks show takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, along the Ohio River, with the main fireworks display starting at 9:00 PM.
Of course, staying local and relaxing with friends and family or having a backyard cookout is just as good an option!
Have a great weekend!
