If you’re looking to pad the weekend with some extra Halloween fun, our Community Calendar has you covered! Check out local events happening near you between family time and any festive parties you have planned.

And don’t forget to wear your costume. Happy Halloween!

Halloween Costume Party

Friday, October 30, starting at 6 p.m.

What is Halloween without masks and makeup? This year, The Teller is hosting its spooktacular costume party with a DJ and a full bar.

The best part: No cover charge needed! Show up with your group ready to dance and party alongside a crowd of familiar monsters and characters.

If you are feeling competitive, sign up for the best-in-costume award for a chance to win a KILLER prize.

This event is 21+ after 9 p.m., so bring a photo ID and get ready to usher in the witchiest weekend of the year!

October Pumpkin Festival

Friday, October 30, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There are only two more days left to explore the Simmons Farms October Pumpkin Festival, and they’re sending it off with one last SMASHING event.

Visit the pumpkin patch this Friday to pick out your own gourd to carve or eat for Halloween. Kids can solve a custom corn maze and take a hayride through the Farms to create lasting memories this autumn.

On Saturday, the Farms will host live music, local vendors, and a special Pumpkin Launching event before Trick-or-Treat kicks off. Tickets are still available on the website, so get yours before they sell out!

Ethan Timm at Harmony Hill Vineyards

Friday, October 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The weather is starting to cool off, which means the picnic season is coming to a close. Fortunately, Harmony Hill Vineyards offers a cozy place to enjoy your food and sip local artisan wines as the sun goes down.

Gather your friends and pick your favorite table; Columbus musician Ethan Timm will be performing a set all evening!

Harmony Hill also offers non-alcoholic beer, soda, and bottled water if you are planning to take the night easy. But don’t forget to try Crumb and Barrel's sourdough options, too!

1.21 Gigawatts Cincy Band

Saturday, October 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Great Scott! The 1.21 Gigawatts Band is back at Cappy’s Taproom and Bottle Shop this Friday for another high-energy performance!

This is one of those bands that really sets the mood for a weekend full of music and parties. Expect to hear some iconic songs from the ‘80s, including the stadium anthems and wild hooks that defined a generation. This is a show that the entire family can enjoy!

Don’t think you’ll be sitting down for this one either. The 1.21 Gigawatts encourage fans to get up and dance for the best experience.

Like many other events happening this weekend, you won’t need a ticket to attend.

That One Party Band Halloween Party

Saturday, October 31, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

That One Party Band… you know the one… is performing at Harmony Hill Vineyard on Halloween night!

This is a costume party, so come dressed to the nines as your favorite pop culture icon or horror movie character. The best costume in the crowd will win a special Halloween surprise!

Music starts as early as 5 p.m., but the action happens all night long. Schmidt’s Sausage Truck will also serve the party so that you won’t go hungry!

Although this is a Halloween event, please purchase any alcoholic beverages from the venue; do not bring outside drinks on the premises. See you there!

Senior Cafe to gather and chat

Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The Senior Cafe is open for those who are seeking a casual place to gather and chat over coffee. Share snacks and meaningful conversations with your community. This event is suitable for ages 55+.

Field of Honor®—a powerful community tribute

Sunday, October 31, TBD

Kiwanis Club of the East Fork Region presents the Field of Honor® this Sunday: a powerful month-long tribute to first responders and veterans across Clermont County.

At the tail end of America’s 250th Anniversary, this year’s display carries special meaning. United States flags will stand in solemn formation at four locations to commemorate milestones that remind us of unity and the sacrifices Americans have made to protect democratic principles and liberty for all.

Locations will include:

West Clermont High School – 4101 Bach Buxton Rd., Cincinnati

Bethel Tate Middle School – 649 W Plane St., Bethel

Williamsburg  Middle/High School – 500 South 5th Street, Williamsburg

Clermont County Sheriff’s Office – 4470 State Road 222, Batavia

A stunning display of 120 flags will be at each site, representing an individual hero.

The generosity of sponsors, donors, and dedicated volunteers has made this tribute possible for the local community. You can also contribute by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

Read the Connect Clermont newsletter for more events and updates.
